2006 The Irish Setter SH.CH Thendara Kennedy died aged almost fourteen and a
half years.
Bred & owned by Dee Milligan-Bott and Jeremy Bott, Born on 16th June
1992 by the 1996 Crufts BOB SH.CH Thendara Okay Yaa ex Bardonhill Bikini, res
CC. The winner of 11 CC’s and 11 res.CC’s and the
gundog groups at Bournemouth in 1995 And Bath in 1996 He was Best of Breed at
Crufts in 2000. As a Veteran, He enjoyed a successful career and at his last
outing at The Irish Setter Breeders Club championship show in
2003 aged nearly 11 years old, Ken won the res.CC
and Res. BIS to his Top Dog nephew, SHCH Thendara Don Corleone
It was as a stud dog his influence has left an impression, the sire of 9 UK Show Champions and numerous overseas top winners, He features within the pedigree’s of a vast amount of today’s Irish Setters.
The success of his progeny, gave him the accolades of Top Sire in 1997, 10th Top Stud Dog, All Breed competition in 2000 and after leading the Top Stud Dog All Breed Competition for most of the year in 2001 was piped at the post by his peer SHCH Caspians Intrepid, to finish ‘runner up’ Top Stud Dog.
