The Kennel was established by Mary & her late
husband Brian in 1972
Their first Irish Setter was Wendover Colas who went on to gain his
title and won a total of seven CC's including Crufts in
1977.
He won Dog World's Top Irish Setter Sire in 1984
Not extensively used at
stud he produced
three Show Champions.
The most famous of the Danaway's is Sh Ch Danaway Debonair winner
of
40CC's and a one time breed record holder only overtaken by his son
Sh Ch Caspians
Intrepid 77 CC's. He won Best In Show at Crufts in 1993 as did his son in 1999. |
